Siping Ecological Environment Bureau solidly promotes the improvement of sewage outlets
In order to further strengthen ecological environmental protection, fully implement the requirements of the "Implementation Plan for the 2019 Autumn-Winter Hundred Day Campaign" in Siping City, Siping City's Ecological Environment Bureau keeps an eye on the improvement target of water environment quality, highlights the source control, and digs out and investigates accurately Strike, push solidly into the river sewage outlets for investigation and rectification.
The Tiedong Branch of the Siping Ecological Environment Bureau adopts a combination of drone inspections and on-site inspections by law enforcement personnel, and conducts round-the-clock inspections to continuously increase the supervision and inspection of sewage outfalls into rivers. After a lot of clues in the previous period, in the early morning of December 27, 2019, the Tiedong Branch of the Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau and the Central Food and Drug Crime Investigation Detachment of the Municipal Public Security Bureau conducted a surprise night inspection of a bean product factory in the Economic Development Zone of Siping City. Upon inspection, the company was established in 2013 and is located in the second team of Hejiaxinzi Village, Tiedong District. It has no environmental protection related procedures and mainly produces dried tofu and other soy products. At the time of the inspection, the enterprise was in production, sewage treatment facilities were not operating, and sewage was discharged into the Beihe River through infiltration wells and concealed pipes directly outside the hospital, which caused greater pollution to the water quality of the Beihe River. The person in charge of the unit confessed the above illegal behavior. On-site law enforcement officers have conducted sampling monitoring on the water outlets of the enterprise's workshop and the main outlet, and the case is currently being processed.
In the next step, the Municipal Eco-Environment Bureau will continue to strengthen the investigation and rectification of sewage outlets, "zero tolerance" for water-related violations, and severely crack down on environmental violations such as illegal sewage discharge and excessive pollution discharge.
